The Institution is located on a land area of 85 acres, which once were barren and dry with scarce population in rural area. It is an energy-efficient, pollution-free, zero-waste and well-laid campus with an ambience for learning.
Library Collection
The library has an extensive collection of Books, Thesis, Dissertations, Journals, Newspapers, E-books and more catalogued and arranged for the easy access of our students.
Open Sources
This resource guide serves as a gateway to various resources available under the Open Access Initiative. Open Access Resources are available in various forms and types such as e- journals, e-books, Electronic thesis & Dissertations, Directories, e-print archives, digital repositories, open education resources, search engines and blogs etc. All these resources are scholarly and useful to support academic and research work available on the web.
Reference Service
Reference Service is an important service offered by the library. It helps users to make full use of the resources available in the library.

The collection ranges from general to subject-specific sources. - All the reference sources are housed in the Reference section.

Holistic Hostel Experience
To cater to the needs of residential students, PMIST has established three Women’s hostels and one Men’s Hostel.
The hostel is annexed with a kitchen for providing food in a protected and hygienic environment along with dining halls, which can accommodate more than 500 students to dine at a time.
Healthy and nutritive food is served. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves.

Cultivating Discipline and Strength Through Sports
VGI is committed to the holistic development of its students, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building. To foster discipline, fitness, and teamwork, students receive specialized training under the National Sports Organization (NSO), which includes physical fitness activities, martial arts, and various sports and games. This initiative not only enhances their physical well-being but also instills values of leadership, perseverance, and excellence.
A Sustainable Oasis of Learning and Innovation
VGI’s eco-friendly campus hosts 1000 trees and 500 plants, producing 8.4 tonnes of oxygen daily. It manufactures eco-friendly building materials and operates a paper recycling unit. Energy-efficient LED lighting and the 5R waste management system ensure sustainability.
A Green Campus in a college promotes sustainability by integrating eco-friendly practices such as energy conservation, waste reduction, water management, and green landscaping. It encourages students and staff to adopt environmentally responsible behavior, supports renewable energy use, and often includes green buildings, tree plantations, and awareness programs. The department partners with students in the process of career management. This starts with self assessment and leads to identifying a career that meets individual goals. Throughout the year, senior executives and alumni from a variety of business participate in scheduled informal discussions on industry and career trends. Learning & Fun Beyond Classrooms
VGI does not limit learning to textbooks and focuses on the holistic development of its students beyond the four walls of the classrooms! The students are offered opportunities to hone their skills and learn new skills through workshops, sessions and activities which are organised by the clubs. These activities promote students to experiment with their innate potential in a favourable ambience. Joining a club is easy and makes life more rewarding, stimulating and most importantly, fun.
